ReadPath

Terms of Use

Last updated 25 September 2026

These terms govern your use of ReadPath. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not, please stop using it and delete your account.

Who provides ReadPath

ReadPath is provided by Malhar Bakshi, Mumbai 400067, Maharashtra, India. Contact: readpath.app@gmail.com.

Your account

You need an account to save anything. You must be 13 or older to create one, and you are responsible for what happens under it. One account per person.

You can delete your account at any time in Me → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent.

Subscriptions

Some of ReadPath is free. Reading sessions, notes, your AI reading plan, your weekly review and your Book of the Month are part of ReadPath Premium, which is a paid subscription.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your iPhone's Settings first if you do not want to be charged again.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are Apple's to give. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Write to us as well and we will help where we can.

Offers

We sometimes offer a lower price. Offers are limited, may end at any time, and depend on eligibility rules set by Apple, including the rule that one introductory offer may be used per subscription group.

What ReadPath does, and what it does not

ReadPath uses AI to suggest books, explain why they fit your goal, and write a review of your reading week.

What you write

The notes, quotes and reflections you save are yours. We do not claim ownership of them. We use them only to run the app for you: to show them back to you, and to write your weekly review. That review is written by sending your notes to OpenAI, as described in our Privacy Policy.

What you agree not to do

We may suspend an account that does any of these.

Books and covers

Book information and cover images come from Open Library and remain the property of their rights holders. ReadPath does not contain the books themselves and does not sell them.

Availability

We try to keep ReadPath working, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. Features may change, and some may be removed.

Liability

ReadPath is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Apple's terms

ReadPath is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies alongside these terms. You can read it at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Apple is not responsible for ReadPath or for supporting it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and we will tell you in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use ReadPath means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai have jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
